DAOs benefit from more people participating, but Ethereum gas fees are often a deterrent when it comes to on-chain delegation and voting. I believe that if norms are built around DAOs covering these fees, participation will improve across the board.
I built ethback.xyz to make it extremely easy for DAOs to reimburse their contributors for gas fees on voting and delegation.
I’m using sort.xyz to get all the data, and the popular disperse.app contract to efficiently distribute ETH to hundreds of addresses in a single transaction.
Sort is currently in beta so most contracts have just 7 days of transaction history, but I’ve been working with the team to ensure that relevant ENS contracts have full historical data. They are working towards adding historical data for all of Ethereum, but other DAOs can reach out to me if they’d like to get added in the meantime.
