Proposal. Grant 1 ETH for acquisition of ENS names* for up to ~250 curators of the RA! Awards x 2022 NFTs of the Year. ENS name Christmas presents for curators! *5 or more characters, 1 per twitter verified user, 0x accounts must not already have an .ETH resolution set

→ Impact. Associate ENS names with Christmas presents. Expand ENS user base to new to web3 users who are curating their favorite NFTs of the year. Cross-promote ENSFair.xyz with each ENS giveaway to curators.

Many RARA users are very new to crypto and dont have a lot of funds. We noticed many did not have ENS names resolving in our app. As a result, we tested giving away ENS names to curators. They loved it and were inviting other friends they had who didn’t have ENS names to join. TBH it was very humbling to see and a good reminder that we need to do better with accessibility in the space.

The RA! Awards x 2022 NFTs of the Year

The RA! Awards are an Internet-first award ceremony for the best NFTs of the year according to the fans, not price. First launched in 2021, the goal of the RA! Awards is to create an NFT award ceremony that is open to anyone with a wallet and access to the Internet. As a counterbalance to the high costs of NFT ownership and attending IRL NFT events, the RA! Awards attempts to show the power of the crowd through open, permissionless curation of NFTs with RARA's social curation protocol.

As the second annual RA! Awards and the first RA! Awards that will be completely on-chain, RARA wants to reward new to web3 social users with an ENS name when they nominate their favorite NFT for a RA! Award. As ENS is the only naming system integrated into RARA’s apps, this will convert curations from 0x… accounts into curations by amazingcurator.eth enhancing their.

The RA! Award Schedule

December 7th. The RA! Awards launch with 5 award categories for nomination. Nominations occur throughout December and January via recurring exhibits found at app.rara.socia. December 7-31st. ENS name giveaway till funds run out. January 16-23rd. Final week of voting January 23rd. The RA! Awards x 2022 NFTs of the Year Ceremony held an NFT metaverse (tentatively Voxels)

About RARA

Curation Tokens, royalties, and other curation incentives will be temporarily paused during the RA! Awards ceremony to maximize accessibility.
