ENS is fantastic for quickly resolving names in web3, but it can do so much more thanks to text records. Wouldn't it be great if it was all searchable?
What's My Name Again offers a free search engine for ENS.
You can search for basic things such as exact names - e.g. runninyeti.eth
But you can also search for wildcard matches like nick*.eth
Even more so, you can search any of the text records automatically:
We also have a free, public API - check it out here! https://docs.indexing.co/
We're looking for a grant to continue this project as a public goods service. We're aiming to continue indexing the basics (.eth domains), but also to expand this in the CCIP-Read world. Once data starts moving off-chain or cross-chain, it will be even tougher to search and we aim to help.
