Bankless Africa is a leading media DAO in Africa that focuses on promoting, educating, and ensuring the mass adoption of blockchain technology and decentralized financial systems across the African continent.

Bankless Africa was born out of BanklessDAO and has gradually built to become one of the foremost African Web3 media DAOs. The DAO has evolved into a hub for onboarding Africans into Web3, crypto, and DAOs. Bankless Africa is a pool of super-talented and skilled individuals who are ready to fold up their sleeves and get to work.

We believe that everyone deserves to be heard, empowered, and able to actualize their vision, but we also know that this goal is not yet a reality for many Africans. We've witnessed firsthand the challenges people face when they try to enter an increasingly advanced global economy, from a lack of credible sources of crypto/Web3 information for and about Africa, to a lack of dedicated Web3 education platforms tailored to African needs and a lack of traditional investment platforms in Africa. While crypto/Web3 has shown the potential to solve most of the social problems in Africa, the lack of quality education and information about crypto means the masses cannot access this innovation. The scarcity of trustworthy resources means people become more susceptible to misinformation about crypto/Web3.

Over the past year, we have successfully established ourselves as one of the best crypto education and information outlet within Africa, helping people discover the potential of crypto and decentralized technologies through our informative podcasts, newsletters, and community activities.

The Bankless Africa Pidgin Parlour initiative brings crypto education and culture to over 75 million pidgin-speaking Africans. We make sure that crypto reaches the streets of Africa.
