Why Turkish Translation?

We believe that translating all the elements of the interface and documentation on the ENS website into Turkish will not only contribute to increasing ENS's local popularity but will also facilitate the onboarding process for many people in the Turkish ecosystem, which has proven to be quite vibrant at Devconnect Istanbul, who are hindered by language barriers, in obtaining their digital identities through ENS.

Who Are the Translators?

Everyone in our translation team is an active member of ITU Blockchain. Additionally, Alamalu was the coordinator of the education and content committee last year, while Selim is currently the coordinator of the education content committee. As members of ITU Blockchain, we strive to contribute to the blockchain ecosystem in Turkey in every field and educate people. In line with these objectives, we can say that the localization of ENS is a great step towards making the Ethereum and ENS ecosystem much more inclusive. Our qualification to carry out this translation is evidenced by the fact that we were members of the teams that won first and second place in the recent Ethereum.org Translatathon. During the Translatathon, we successfully translated all the texts on Ethereum.org into Turkish within a week. We haven't set a firm deadline for this project, but should our grant application be successful, we can then discuss the details of the translation with the ENS team and the team members. Also members of our team have been producing Turkish content about various blockchains and DApps for at least a year, primarily focusing on Fuel Network, Optimism, and Hyperlane.
