Si Her is a co-active of women in web3, on a mission to co-create a more accessible and equitable web. Within our Co-Active, we have created a ENS-supported website template for our members, to drive awareness of diverse web3 identities.

Granting Access

We are hosting a virtual event on July 18th called Granting Access, bringing together women & non-binary speakers from leading chains and protocols to share about their organizations and grant programs. In our estimation, 5-10% of grant funds go towards women in web3. Yet studies show, diverse teams outperform financially by 36% (McKinsey, 2023).

This virtual event will bring together leaders and a women in web3 builder audience, aiming to drive more funding and financial inclusion towards women, and therefore financial performance. Target metrics for the event include:

• 4,000 women in web3 professionals invited (developers, brand builders, founders)

• 140 women in web3 community organizers invited

• 2,000+ registrants targeted

• 250+ live attendees targeted

We will be introducing a panel and playbook titled 'Strategies For Equity & Financial Inclusion in Web3', incorporating insights from our panelists of web3 DEI leaders and information gathered from each presenting organization. This will be distributed to presenting organizations with an invitation to join our financial inclusion working group for industry leaders across chains and protocols.

Grant Funds

This grant will go towards our event production and awareness-building activities, including ENS in our community and women in web3 ecosystem marketing activities. We will be sharing this event broadly across our networks, with our database of 150 women in web3 communities, and across our presenting organization's channels. We will also be running campaigns on Ethermail and Koris.io.

We have received grants from Livepeer, Arbitrum, and Push Protocol. We have successfully hosted multiple virtual and in-person events, including our 'Si Her Summit' with 50 women in web3 speakers, and Si Her Impact Web3 in-person event at NFT.NYC with 100 attendees.
