Web3Brand is a user-centric Web3 weekly subscription media in Chinese, delivering 1-2 pieces of free content per week (articles, podcasts, etc.) to deepdive Web3 and AI-based consumer applications and protocols, including use cases, products, technologies, and business models.
This helps ordinary people better understand and grasp relevant trends while enabling projects to better convey user value, business value and reach consensus with Web3 core users, tech enthusiasts, and other early adopters.
The two co-founders of Web3Brand are seasoned Tech Veterans with over 10 years of experience in product management, operations, and international brand building. We have been responsible for products with hundreds of millions of users and have also built startups from scratch that generate over 100 million in annual revenue.
We firmly believe in the impact of Web3 on the world, and we deeply understand the hurdles a new technology faces from its birth to mass adoption. Therefore, through content output and community events, we aim to continuously drive real-world applications of Web3, enabling more users to experience the charm of the decentralized world and benefit from it.
Established in 2023, Web3Brand has published over 100 articles and produced 22 podcast episodes, delivered to over 30,000 twitter followers and 3,000 dedicated newsletter subscribers(incl. a bunch of famous founders and investors), making it the most trusted and unique content brand in Chinese Space, also becoming the first stop for many well-known projects to receive interviews in the Chinese Space, like Story Protocol, Galxe, Backpack, GM Network, Foresight Ventures, etc.

Web3/Crypto is still early. Most of the current content is either too technical for ordinary people to understand and know how to use, or too hyped up and lacking long-term value. Chris Dixon's description "computer and casino culture" is quite apt. This also hinders more ordinary people from entering the space.
What does this mean for ordinary people?
As a public goods, Web3Brand hopes to popularize the practical value of Web3 to ordinary people through in-depth analysis from a user perspective, especially by showcasing the use cases of various applications. This allows users to understand the appeal of Web3 and enables more people to enter this space as consumers and builders.
Our unique user-oriented content also helps more Web3 projects better communicate user value, business value, and achieve consensus among Web3 core users and tech enthusiasts - these early adopters.
Our articles have garnered hundreds of thousands of views, and our podcast, launched this year, has received over 15,000 plays. Beyond the technicalities of Web3, we bring more user perspectives and cultural aspects to this space, benefiting the entire industry.
Web3Brand is free to users now, which means the public goods grant is crucial for our sustainable operation.
This funding can help cover our content production costs, especially for podcast recording and editing. It can also help us experiment with new content formats like YouTube videos, reaching a wider user base.
In a nutshell, this funding enables us to continue as a public good, consistently delivering high-quality, free content to users, bringing out more Web3 use cases, and helping drive the development of this industry.
