Womenbiz is a community dedicated to bridging the gender gap in technology and empowering women in Latam through education and access to Web3 technologies. Founded with the vision of creating an inclusive and resilient community, Womenbiz has transformed the lives of hundreds of women by providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in the digital economy. Since our inception, we have tirelessly worked to offer high-quality educational programs and create a strong support network for our participants.
We envision a future where women in LATAM and across Latin America have equitable access to education and opportunities in technology, becoming leaders and pioneers in the Web3 space. We aspire to create a regenerative and sustainable economy where women can thrive, using decentralized technologies to improve their lives and those of their communities.
Results: 124 hackers, 15 finalist projects, 10 winners.
Protocols and Mentorship: Throughout the hackathon, participants utilized and learned about protocols and platforms such as ENS, SheIsNear, Polygon, Dabl Club, ICP, Scroll, and Motiv.

Participation: 400 applications, 200 selected from 16 countries.
Platforms and Protocols Used: Participants worked with Optimism, 1inch, Zora, Coinbase, thirdweb, Mirror, Paragraph, MetaMask, Gitcoin, ENS, Giveth, Filecoin, Console, and Huddle. These tools were integral in providing a hands-on learning experience.

With this support, we will expand into more cities across LATAM, enabling us to compensate our team and continue organizing tailored hackathons and bootcamps. These initiatives are designed to educate and attract more women to the Web3 ecosystem. Additionally, the grant will help us enhance our digital infrastructure, develop new learning resources, and strengthen our community outreach efforts.
